More and more people are finding their way to Painting by Angel, which is fantastic but also very busy.
Of course, I work entirely on my own and run my business with great passion; you need the drive to constantly develop new designs to stay surprising and to trigger your clients.
It is more than just my job, it is a way of life to be creative every day; that creativity wants to come out and gives immense satisfaction.
What a lucky person I am that I can do what I love doing every single day!
Of course, there is so much more involved: keeping up with social media every day on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, and keeping my own website up to date daily, photography, packing parcels, bookkeeping, and so on. Actually, my days are far too short, and my head is overflowing with creative ideas that I don't always have time for. Oh, and the housework still needs to be done as usual... hahahaha
In short, I am actually always busy, and even after all these years of painting, it still doesn't feel like work; rather, the relaxation I find in the creative process outweighs it.
Ensuring that people enjoy a painting by my hand is a fantastic feeling for me; so many wonderful people have already crossed my path with beautiful stories and compliments.
And of course, there are still a great many people who do not know that I make paintings; even in the village where I live, only a few people know that I paint. Local advertising still hasn't happened, simply because demand is still greater than supply. Will the time ever come when that is the other way around? Probably, but for now, I'm happily carrying on. A few more weeks of hard work and then I'll thoroughly enjoy the Christmas holidays, although it wouldn't surprise me if I still manage to find an hour somewhere to paint.
