General Terms and Conditions

Last updated on May 30, 2026. These terms and conditions apply to every order you place with Painting by Angel.

1. Who am I

Painting by Angel is a sole proprietorship owned by Angel van Elst.

2. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every offer in the webshop and to every agreement you enter into with me. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and conditions.

3. The offer

Each work is unique and is sold as a one-of-a-kind copy. The photos depict my work as it truly is, without filters that make it look better than it is. Colors on your screen may differ slightly from the original. If a work is sold or reserved, you can no longer order it.

4. Prices

All prices are in euros and include 9% VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately before you finalize your order. If you purchase multiple works in a single order, you only pay shipping costs once.

5. Ordering and payment

You place an order by adding a work to your shopping cart and proceeding to checkout. Payment can be made via iDEAL or Bancontact through Mollie. The payment process is secure, and your order is only final once the payment has been completed.

6. Reserve with a deposit

For customers in the Netherlands and Belgium, you can reserve a work. You do not arrange this via the webshop, but through me personally: send an email to info@paintingbyangel.com or WhatsApp me. We will agree on a deposit, I will set the work aside for you, and then we will arrange pickup or delivery within the Benelux.

7. Shipping and delivery

I ship with PostNL. The circles are sent via DHL, because PostNL does not accept that size. I print the labels via MyParcel. Shipping insurance is included in the price. I ship to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, and Austria.

Delivery times, excluding holidays:

Netherlands: 2 to 3 working days
Abroad: 3 to 5 working days
Circles via DHL: 3 to 5 working days

Large works that cannot be shipped safely due to their size can only be picked up in Hapert.

8. Pick up

Would you like to pick up your order in Hapert? Please mention this in the notes with your order, or call or text me. Pick-up is by appointment.

9. Right of withdrawal

You have a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days. You can read how this works and when it does and does not apply on the page about the right of withdrawal.

10. Liability

I pack every piece with care. Should anything get damaged during shipping, please contact me within 48 hours of receipt with photos, so we can find a solution together.
